Bewl Water is many things to many people – a place to walk, cycle, ride, challenge yourself, entertain the family or simply unwind and relax. There are activities for all ages and interests, plus great events throughout the year. The 12½ mile Round Reservoir Route is open to walkers all year round and to cycles and horses during the drier months.

It is also one of England’s finest and most attractive trout fisheries with boat fishing on much of Bewl’s 770 acres from the fleet of 54 well-maintained boats, and bank fishing accessible on more than half of the lake’s 17-mile shoreline, and offering Fly Fishing Courses and Experience Days, private tuition and Junior Courses.
